Relocating

Our offices are located in the heart of Glasgow and Edinburgh which have great transport links, great shopping facilities, lots going on generally, plus tremendous outdoor recreational opportunities right on the doorstep. Our offices themselves are modern, open plan and (if we do say so ourselves) extremely attractive.

Whilst our vacancies will generally be location-specific, we can sometimes flex to meet a candidate's requirements.

For the right candidates, we can often make the prospect of a move easier to contemplate, by providing assistance with relocation costs.

City Highlights

So, maybe you need a bit more convincing?

  • Glasgow was named the number one city by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller in the Best UK City category in 2006 (and with Loch Lomond right on your doorstep–who could ask for more?)
  • Glasgow is home to the Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra
  • Glasgow has been named as one of the world's top 10 must-see destinations, alongside the likes of exotic Goa and Tasmania, by leading tourist guide publisher, Frommers.
  • Edinburgh has recently been confirmed as one of the world's top festival cities, offering a cultural menu unmatched anywhere in the world, according to research by international consultants, AEA.
  • "Edinburgh", said writer Robert Louis Stevenson, "is what Paris ought to be".
  • Edinburgh recently won the accolade of 'best place to live in the UK' on Channel 4's Location, Location, Location 'Best & Worst Places to Live 2007'.

With Semple Fraser you will experience the lifestyle rewards of living and working in Scotland. For some it will be a journey back home, while for others, a move to Scotland is the start of a new chapter. Either way, a career in Scotland can not only be rewarding but can help deliver a bit more of that elusive work/life balance we're all keen to achieve. Even the journey to work can be a lot shorter and more enjoyable.
