Training contracts
You will enter into a contractual relationship relating specifically to your traineeship. This contract is in place to ensure that you receive a traineeship which meets the Law Society requirements. This document outlines our responsibilities as a training provider and your responsibilities as a trainee. As part of your training contract, you will attend a two-week Professional Competence Course, or if you have an English Law background, a 12-day Professional Skills course. Over and above this, however, you will participate in a broad range of internally run training events, covering technical, practical and management aspects of the solicitor's role.
